Katarina witt was born the 3rd of December in Staaken East Germany. In her search for new opportunities Witt is continuing to grow and acquire new talents in the world of figure skating, as also producing, performing acting, and writing. Katarina Witt will end her amateur career at the World Championships in 1988. She co-headlines her first tour as a professional Canada as well as the US over the following three year alongside World Champion Brian Boitano. This is the first time in ten year, the Madison Square Garden shows a figure-skating show with "Witt and Boitano skating". This show became so well-known that it sold out Madison Square Garden for a entire event. 1993-94 she returns to an amateur sports and enters the competitive limelight to participate for the third time as a participant in the Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 1994. After traveling across the US for ten years as guest stars on "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in professional international competitions. As a producer with her company WITT, she's responsible for many international ice show concepts that are created, headlined and produced. It is a company that sets the standard in skating, making programs like "Divas on ice", "Katarina & Friends", Enjoy the Stars" as well as Winter Magic for US and German TV.
